The largest 1,000 Ethereum whales tracked by WhaleStats are buying 10 altcoin projects, especially Shiba Inu (SHIB), at every opportunity. In this article, we take a look at the portfolio of giant wallets and the cryptocurrencies it owns outside of MANA, FTT, and GALA.
Altcoin whales MANA, SHIB and these 8 altcoin projects accumulate
The second largest meme crypto by market cap Shiba Inu (SHIB), although occasionally overtaken by FTT, is generally the largest whale whale in dollar terms accumulation. SHIB accounts for 22.79% of the total portfolio of the 1,000 largest Ethereum whales, exceeding $2 billion. In second place is FTT, the cryptocurrency of the FTX exchange, which dominates 14.7% of wallets. We have seen whales selling some FTT tokens in the current market downturn. The following lines are reserved for stablecoins with USD Coin (USDC) and Tether (USDT). These cryptocurrencies are often in the top 5 of the list and are rarely banned from that position. USDC and USDT occupy 11.68% and 6.46% of whale wallets, respectively.
5.89% of Whale wallets are allocated to other altcoin projects. BEST and OKB are in the 6th and 7th places of the list with over $300 million in fiat positions. Cryptocurrency exchanges can transfer large amounts of these cryptos to provide liquidity during peak trading hours. Another outstanding token of the list is Decentraland (MANA). Metaverse coin occupies 2.77% of whale wallets at $279. Crypto.com’s crypto currency CRO is in 9th place. As we quoted as Kriptokoin.com, the exchange announced that it will now call the CRO token “Cronos”. Besides, we can add that Binance Smart Chain will now be referred to as “BNB Chain”. At the bottom of the list is GALA, the functional token of the Gala Games platform. Along with the cryptos we mentioned, the list consists of the following tokens.
- Shiba Inu (SHIB)
- FTX Token (FTT)
- USD Coin (USDC)
- Tether (USDT)
- Other tokens
- Bitpanda Token (BEST)
- OKEx Token (OKB)
- Decentraland (MANA)
- Crypto.com (CRO)
- Gala Games (GALA)
