The best-selling games for November have been announced. According to the report, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which was released on November 8, was at the top of the list of best-selling games of November. Activision’s latest game has been subject to a lot of criticism since its release.
Modern Warfare 3 became the best-selling game of November
Circana’s monthly report, which covers sales in the USA, revealed the latest data of the gaming world. Accordingly, overall spending on game content and hardware decreased in November compared to last year. While total game sales decreased by 7 percent, content hardware sales decreased by 24 percent.
In the first 11 months of 2023, total game sales increased by only 1 percent since the beginning of the year. While hardware sales decreased steadily every month, there was a 1 percent increase in content and accessory spending. Gaming spending was $5.8 billion in November.
Circana attributes the decline in game sales to the games released late last year. He reminded that God of War Ragnarok and Pokémon Scarlet/Violet productions were introduced in November 2022. It was stated that Call of Duty and Super Mario RPG were announced in November this year.

It was stated that PlayStation-exclusive Spider-Man Miles Morales and Hogwarts Legacy returned to the bestseller list in November. Some breakout productions, such as Alan Wake 2, were not included in the list.
