The CES 2023 fair, which was held in Las Vegas, USA and which we follow on-site as ShiftDelete.Net, hosts many new technologies. In the organization attended by many automobile manufacturers, concept models were also quite remarkable. One of the concept cars introduced at the fair was the Peugeot Inception Concept. We examined the concept model, in which the French manufacturer introduced its new technologies, on site.
Peugeot Inception Concept shines a light on the future
The name of the concept model, derived from the Latin word ‘Inceptio’ meaning ‘beginning’, symbolizes a new beginning for Peugeot. The concept car, which sheds light on the future of the French manufacturer, proves this with its different design and technology.
In the front section, the lion’s claw-like lighting group stands out. The new Peugeot logos are also kept in the foreground in the vehicle, which has a very aggressive design. At the rear, it is possible to see the triple LED taillight, which is also the signature of Peugeot. In this part of the vehicle, we see that the Peugeot lettering is also illuminated.
Rising on Stellantis’ STLA platform, the model carries traces of Peugeot’s future models. It will be possible to see these design traces in the new electric cars that the French manufacturer will introduce in the coming period.
When we move to the interior, a very different cockpit welcomes us. Rectangular steering wheel and cylindrical digital display screen are the first attention-grabbing details. The fact that there is no gas or brake pedal in the vehicle is a reflection of autonomous driving technology. Let’s not go without saying that the seat design in the vehicle is also quite different.
Let’s move on to the technical features of the concept car; The electric motor, which can produce 680 horsepower, drives this vehicle. It takes just under 3 seconds for this all-wheel drive electric concept car to reach 100 km/h.
The 100 kWh battery in the Peugeot Inception Concept model provides a range of 800 kilometers to the vehicle. Thanks to its advanced battery technology, the concept car reaches a range of 150 kilometers with a 5-minute charge. The concept car can also be charged wirelessly.
The Peugeot Inception concept really looks like it came from the future, both in design and technology. So what do you think about Peugeot’s new concept car? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
