Wednesday, the spin-off of Tim Burton’s The Addams Family, which has a huge fan base in the world of cinema with its gothic characters, is getting ready to meet the audience on Netflix. When the series, which has already started to be talked about with its trailer, will be published, was also shared with the promotional trailer.

In the promotional trailer of the series, which has been shooting for several years, the phrase “Wednesday, the work of Tim Burton’s unique imagination” took place. Jenna Ortega plays Wednesday Addams, the main character of the series.

Here’s the first teaser trailer for the brand new Netflix series Wednesday

A figment of Tim Burton’s imagination, the series follows Morticia and Gomez Addams when their demented teenage daughter Wednesday attends Nevermore Academy, where she tries to master her new psychic abilities and solve a murder mystery tied to her family’s past. The trailer reads, “It’s full of mystery, mayhem, and murder. I think I’ll like it here.” says, our main character meets other people with special powers like himself, and things start to get even more interesting.

Other members of the Addams Family include Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, and Isaac Ordonez as Wednesday’s brother Pugsley. Victor Dorobantu plays the maid Thing, while George Burcea plays the maid Lurch. Other cast members include Gwendoline Christie, Jamie McShane, Percy Hynes White, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Naomi J Ogawa, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer and Riki Lindhome.

Christina Ricci, who plays Wednesday in the movie series published in the 90s, is in the series as Marilyn Thornhill. Tim Burton, of course, sits in the director’s chair of the 8-episode series, which is expected to be released this fall.
