Xiaomi introduced its affordable smartphone Redmi 12C in China in December last year. The company is now preparing to launch the Redmi 13C model. Although the release date and technical specifications of the device are not yet known, we had the chance to see its design.The resource MySmartPrice published the first images of the smartphone. Thus, we had the opportunity to evaluate the external appearance of the device. Judging by the images, there will be a drop-shaped notch in the middle of the Redmi 13C’s screen for the front camera.
Highlights of the camera system
The device has a triple camera system with LED flash on the back. Thanks to the text next to the module, we learn that the installation will include a 50 megapixel main camera. The power button and volume up-down buttons are located on the right side of the device.
While there is a speaker grill, charging port and microphone at the bottom, there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the top of the device. The images also show that the smartphone will be released in three color options: light green, black and blue.
For now, we do not know the technical details of Redmi 13C and when it will be released. However, we will have the opportunity to learn more in the coming days or weeks when it appears in the records of certification bodies such as the Geekbench database or TENAA.
