KEMANKEŞ took off from Bayraktar TB2 and made its way towards the target in the motorized firing test conducted at the Baykar Flight Training and Test Center in the Keşan district of Edirne. KEMANKES, which made a 33-kilometer journey with its jet engine, reached the target area and completed its mission.
KEMANKES cruise missile Bayraktar Akıncı will be added to Bayraktar TB2 and Bayraktar TB3 unmanned aerial vehicles. The mini smart cruise missile, which can stay in the air for about 1 hour, will have a mission range of over 200 kilometers.
Leveraging artificial intelligence technology
KEMANKEŞ’s autopilot system has artificial intelligence supported autonomous flight technology. In addition, thanks to the artificial intelligence-assisted optical guidance system, it will have the ability to destroy with full accuracy even in harsh weather conditions. It can be used day and night. KEMANKES will provide support to the user in data tracking by transmitting all the data and images it has obtained to the ground control station via the platform.
