The countdown has officially begun for Lenovo Legion Go, which looks like a very formidable competitor to Valve’s handheld Steam Deck. The device, which has given users ideas about how it will perform with various leaks and reports to date, will be introduced on September 1. However, the console’s features and price have recently been revealed.

What will Lenovo Legion Go features be like?

If we look at the leaked images of Lenovo Go, we can say that it shows a similarity to the Nintendo Switch OLED. It resembles Nintendo’s console with its support leg on its back case, and it directly brings to mind the Switch’s Joy-Cons, especially with its detachable controllers. The device will weigh 854 grams with the controllers attached.

The console’s key layout consists of two analog sticks, a D-Pad, four buttons (A, B, X and Y) and a touchpad. In addition, there will be a mouse wheel behind the right controller. Considering that the model will run the Windows 11 operating system, we can say that it was a logical move as it would make navigation extremely easy.

The model will feature an 8.8-inch IPS touch panel with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels offering a 144 Hz refresh rate. Apart from that, it will be powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 series processor. In the leak, it is said that the console can be upgraded to AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme.

The handheld console, which will be presented to users with 16 GB 7500Mhz LPDDR5X RAM, will have 256/512 GB and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD options. Finally, let’s mention that the product will come out of the box with Windows 11 Home and will be powered by a 49.2 WHr battery. The starting price of the model was determined as $ 799.
