As it is known, Battlefield 2042, the newest game of the Battlefield series, has not yet been able to give what is expected with the notes it received from both players and professional review sites. DICE Games, which rolled up its sleeves after the main games of the series, which were released in the last 10 years of Battlefield, had the lowest sales figures and average points, are trying to meet the expectations of the players.
A new scoreboard is coming for Battlefield 2042
As of today, after the small XP regulation update to Battlefield 2042, the details of the new and larger update to the game have also been shared. Producer DICE, in a statement via its official Twitter page, announced that the game has been working on the 3.3 patch for a while, and this first major update to the game will meet players in mid-February.
Battlefield 2042 was released with a radical design focused on personal performance and tracking lane progression and other stats that don’t usually belong on a leaderboard. However, this table did not show anything in detail about what the rest of the team was doing, nor what was the state of the server you were in. The fact that such information, which is quite standard for such games, was not shared, drew the reaction of the players.
Although DICE, the producer of Battlefield 2042, has shared the new scoreboard designed for the game as of today, it has not received much positive feedback from the players.
Commenting on social media, Battlefield players complain that the new design is not similar enough to the old games and that what the teams are doing is not shown clearly – once again. However, DICE said that this innovation is just the beginning and will continue to be developed with the feedback from the players.
It has also been officially announced by DICE that there will be more detailed explanations about the 3.3 update of the game in the coming days. So what do you guys think about Battlefield 2042? Do not forget to share your views with us in the comments section.
