Dell first showcased the NVIDIA-focused version of the Alienware 500Hz gaming monitor at CES 2023 and won the device innovation award. The company has now introduced the Alienware 500Hz gaming monitor (AW2524HF) with AMD FreeSync Premium. The model with AMD FreeSync Premium support will be available on September 12, 2023. No statement has been made yet about the sales price of the new monitor.
The 500 Hz refresh rate of the monitor reveals a speed equivalent to a 0.5 ms response time. The new monitor also stands out with AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA AdaptiveSync certification. It is worth remembering that you probably need at least an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX to take advantage of the 500Hz refresh rate in games.
