There have been various reports and rumors about the alleged “dream” Exynos chip for the Galaxy S25. This chip is expected to be released in 2025 and is believed to offer much better performance than the company’s previous generation Exynos processors. According to Tech_Reve, Samsung and AMD are working together on a new GPU for the Exynos 2500. As part of their extended partnership, this processor will be based on AMD’s Radeon technology and will focus on improving optimization. Although not explicitly stated, it is suggested that the 2 companies will focus on optimization rather than raw performance.
Exactly how the Exynos 2500 will perform against rival GPUs in Apple’s and Qualcomm’s chips remains unclear. Everything on this subject is expected to become clear only when devices equipped with this processor reach customers after 2 years. Previous generation Exynos chipsets showed lower performance and lower power efficiency than their Snapdragon counterparts.
