Powerful design and powerful hardware: Mate 60 Pro
The Mate 60 Pro stands out as a device with very thin bezels when viewed from the front. While the slightly curved screen strengthens the design, there is a circular camera setup on the back of the device. This design language is also continued on the device back cover.
While not by design, the three holes at the top of the screen house the same setup we saw on the Mate 40 Pro and Mate 50 Pro. In addition to sensors and lasers for 3D face mapping for facial recognition, a 13 MP ultra-wide selfie camera is located in this section. Speaking of cameras, the XMAGE triple camera system is located in the circle on the back of the device. Here is the 50 MP main unit with f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture, with OIS and PDAF, which we saw on the Mate 50 Pro and P60 Pro. The ultra wide-angle camera has a 12 MP sensor and f/2.2 lens, while the third camera has a 48 MP sensor and f/3.0 telephoto lens with OIS and AF.
While the Huawei Mate 60 Pro supports satellite messaging in China, it is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. This battery supports 88W wired, 50W wireless charging and even 20W reverse wireless charging. On the operating system side, there is HarmonyOS 4.0, which we saw on this phone for the first time. The processor used by the Mate 60 Pro, which has an under-screen fingerprint reader, has not yet been announced.
