One UI 7 has been released with the Galaxy S25 series and will soon reach other supported Galaxy devices. With the update, it will be possible to disable this compulsory screen darkening feature by turning off the Settings> Battery> Automatic Discharge ”option.

In particular, the excessive darkening of the screen was a major problem when sending a message at a low battery level or taking an emergency.
