The world of technology is undergoing a major shift following the increased interest in the artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT. Continuing its investments in this area without slowing down, Nvidia has now announced the Nvidia DGX Cloud service, which will carry the DGX Supercomputer to the cloud.

What will Nvidia DGX Cloud offer?

According to the announced information, Nvidia DGX Cloud will combine DGX workstations designed for high-performance computing and artificial intelligence applications with cloud infrastructure. Thus, the tech giant plans to eliminate the hardware need of corporate customers who want to build productive AI models and services.

For those who don’t know, Nvidia DGX workstations are often used by organizations that develop high-performance computing and artificial intelligence applications, such as research institutions, universities, and large enterprises. In addition, these systems are accompanied by Nvidia’s leading deep learning software and pre-trained generative AI models.

However, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang described DGX Cloud as the “next level” of the GPU business model. Although what is known about the Nvidia DGX Cloud is limited for now, more details are expected to be shared at a virtual event to be held by Nvidia in March.

In addition to the new announcement, Nvidia announced that the new service is already available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and will soon reach Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and other cloud services.
