Google’s email service Gmail continues to be updated with new features. As you know, the email platform has been offering built-in translation for web browsers for some time now. With the new feature, the Gmail app automatically detects the language of the email content and displays a tab at the top of the email that allows it to be translated into the user’s preferred language. For example, if an email is in Korean and the language you want to read is English, simply tap ‘Translate to English’ to see the translated text.

Users will also be able to choose to always translate certain languages or never translate them. It should also be noted that the feature based on the Google Translate service offers support for more than 100 languages.

In the announcement, Google stated that the built-in translation feature will be available on both iOS and Android platforms for up to 15 days. However, it should be noted that it is available in the Gmail Android application as of today. It will come to iOS in the coming days.
