Skyrim revamped with RTX Remix
For those who don’t know, we can say that RTX Remix allows old games to be rearranged with higher quality textures, new lighting system, ray tracing and resolution upgrade technologies. Thus, this technology, which is open to both users and developers, enables old productions with DirectX 8 or DirectX 9 support to come to life again.
When we look at the shared video, we see that the production takes on a darker atmosphere with more advanced lighting and shadow effects. Of course, there is a lot of room for improvement. As a matter of fact, Half Life 2, updated with RTX Remix, came up with fascinating graphics. However, the developer plans to meet with some of the talented Skyrim modders.
It should also be noted that the RTX Remix community is working on many other classic PC games, including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, in addition to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout: New Vegas, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines.
