Chinese sources have published the render image of Xiaomi’s new foldable phone. The shared image seems consistent with the first leaks from inside. The device, which will be folded vertically, will resemble the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Motorola Razr 40 Ultra models.
It is possible that Xiaomi will sell the phone for a lower price than its competitors. However, there is no information about the price tag and technical specifications yet. The image shows that the device will have a second screen under the horizontal camera unit with three sensors.
No device in this form factor
The company already has devices with foldable screens in its portfolio. We are talking about the Mix Fold and the Mix Fold 2, the world’s thinnest foldable phone at the time it was released. Xiaomi did not have a vertically foldable phone. The new model will fill this gap in the product range.
