There has been a new development regarding the domestic automobile project that Turkey has been talking about for a long time. Turkey’s Automobile Initiative Group (TOGG), with a post on its official Twitter account, showed the final stage of the fully electric car. According to the statements made by the company, the testing process of the domestic car continues as planned.
According to the sharing made on TOGG’s Twitter address, the aerodynamic and aeroacoustic tests of the domestic car prototype, which is expected to go into mass production in 2022, have also been carried out. Thus, the completion of all the work necessary for the production of the vehicle was a little closer. Making a statement a few days ago, TOGG CEO Gürcan Karakaş said that they would start mass production of the domestic car at the end of 2022.

In the statements made by the company; “Our prototype testing processes are progressing in line with our plans. Today, our aerodynamic and aeroacoustic tests were carried out.”
In the meantime, there is a remarkable point in domestic car sharing. The shared photo shows that the design of the vehicle has been changed. In this context; When TOGG was first announced, a camera was used, not a side mirror. The final image shows a redesign of the mirror. In addition, the vehicle’s fog lights have also been changed. The front fog lights, which previously appeared in the form of a strip, now have a circular structure. It is not known for now whether these changes will be permanent or whether it is preferred because it is a prototype.
