OPPO, one of the leading names in the smartphone market, continues its preparations for the new year at full speed. Now it turns out that the company has received a new patent for the Reno series. This patent presents the first information about the OPPO Reno 7 Pro model.
On December 28, 2020, OPPO applied for a design patent to the National Intellectual Property Office (CNIPA). This patent was officially approved after a long time. While there are vague patent applications for 32 products in the documents presented, it is claimed that the OPPO 7 Pro model is among them.
First information about OPPO Reno 7 Pro started to come
OPPO, which comes before the user with a new Reno series every year, rolled up its sleeves for the successor of the Reno 6 series. The manufacturer, which will appear with the OPPO Reno 7 Pro series next year, will include some changes on the design side.
Recently, the Dutch technology page LetsGoDigital has revealed the new design patent for the OPPO Reno 7 Pro. According to this patent, the new smartphone of the Chinese company will come with an Infinity-O perforated screen with a high body ratio on the front.
On the other hand, other details of the phone are also revealed in the same patent. In this context, the OPPO Reno 7 Pro will have a case with a thin bezel and rounded four corners. In addition, the selfie camera of the device will be placed in the upper left corner of the screen. In addition, the volume up keys will be on the left, and the power key will be on the right.
On the other hand, the Reno 7 Pro will have a microphone opening at the top, a sim card slot at the bottom, a USB-C charging port and speaker grilles. But the real change will be on the camera side. Compared to the Reno 6 Pro, the Reno 7 Pro will undergo some changes in this area.
Home to three large lenses in the upper left corner of the rear, the Reno 7 Pro will house four small dot-shaped flashes or sensors at the bottom. However, nothing is known about what the single lens on the right will do.
OPPO, which launched the Reno 6 series in the first half of 2021, is expected to launch the Reno 7 series in the first quarter of 2022. However, it is worth noting that there are news that the devices will arrive in December.
