One of the companies that took the stage after Huawei was blacklisted by the USA in 2019 was OnePlus. Increasing its activity in the sector in this direction, the company is frequently preferred with its mid-upper segment models as of today.
The company is gearing up to showcase the OnePlus Nord 2 CE in the coming months. The design of the device, which was previously determined to be called IVAN and Nord 2 CE in different markets, has recently been announced.
How will the OnePlus Nord 2 CE design be?
Render images of the smartphone, which has recently appeared in the databases of various certification sites with the model number IV2021, have been leaked. Thus, the design became clear to a large extent.
In the images shared by Yogesh Brar, the device appears to come with relatively thin bezels and a selfie camera positioned in the upper left corner. On the other hand, a design similar to the camera setup used in realme models was preferred on the back panel.
In addition, there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack and MicroSD card slot, which are no longer used in the flagship models, but continue to appear in the majority of entry and mid-range devices. Considering the shared images, we can say that the smartphone will go on sale in gray / black and green color options. Of course, there is a high probability that there are different color options.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE, which is expected to be in the middle segment in terms of technical features, will come with a 6.4 inch AMOLED panel that offers 90 Hz refresh rate. It is also among the information that the screen will be protected with Gorilla Glass 6 technology.
The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. Produced with 6 nm architecture, the chipset contains Mali-G68 MC4 graphics unit in addition to two 2.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 and six 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores.
The device has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. At this point, it should be noted that there may be different options, but they are not clear for now.
While there is a 16 Megapixel selfie camera on the front, there will be a triple camera setup on the back with a 64 Megapixel main camera, 8 Megapixel ultra wide angle and 2 Megapixel macro sensor.
The device, which will be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 65W charging speeds that can be charged via USB-C, will run the Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 interface as soon as it comes out of the box. Finally, let’s mention that the smartphone will use an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, 5G, dual-band Wi-i, GNSS and NFC features.
The launch date of OnePlus Nord 2 CE is currently unknown. However, the reports that emerged are that the device will be available to users in the first quarter of 2022.
