Vivo, one of the leading names in the smartphone market, continues its preparations for the new member of the Vivo X90 series, the Vivo X90S. For those who don’t know, the X90 series consisting of Vivo X90s, Vivo X90, X90 Pro and Plus Plus models will be a MediaTek processor-oriented device. At this point, Dimensity 9200+, based on the 4 nm production node, will be powered by 1 x 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-X3, 3 x 2.85 GHz ARM Cortex-A715 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores, in addition to the Immortalis-G715 graphics unit.
Shared promotional images show that the Vivo X90s will have a protruding circular camera module on the back panel and a slim design. We can see the Xtreme Imagination text in a horizontal strip below the camera island. As for the front, a slightly curved, center-aligned punch-hole display is positioned. According to reports, the Vivo X90s will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel on the front offering a 120 Hz screen refresh rate and a resolution of 2800 x 1280 pixels. The device, which will be showcased with 8/12 GB RAM and 256/512 GB storage options, is expected to come out of the box with a 4,800mAh battery with MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ and 120W fast charging support.
In the camera department, the Vivo X90s will receive support from a triple sensor setup. It is stated that these sensors will be a portrait sensor with 50MP primary, 12MP wide angle and 2x optical zoom support. On the front, there will be a 32MP front camera for video calls and selfie shots. The Vivo X90s is expected to debut on June 26.
