Valorant announced that with the new upcoming update, it will now listen to the voice chats of the players. Because, although measures were taken against hate and harassment in written messages in the game, they could not be provided verbally.
It was said that this update will be effective from July 13 and that in-game voice chat will begin to be recorded. So there will be no action for now. Also, there won’t be people sitting and listening to everything that’s being said among the players. Instead, machine learning, that is, artificial intelligence, will be used.
Here, it is stated that the main goal is to make an algorithm that uses machine learning to detect what bullying and hate are. If things go as planned, the use of this artificial intelligence will also start this year.
