Apple, one of the most controversial brands in the technology world, launched the new iPhone 15 series a few months ago. Now, while all eyes are on the iPhone 16, which the company will introduce next year, the first information about the iPhone 17 series has started to come. Finally, important information has emerged for the flat models that will be included in the series.
We will not encounter a 60 Hz screen refresh rate in the iPhone 17 series
In the iPhone series introduced in recent years, Apple kept the screen refresh rate constant at 120 Hz in Pro models, while this rate remained at 60 Hz in plain models. Even though rival Android manufacturers have 120 Hz screens even in their entry-level models, Apple still insists on 60 Hz, which causes criticism. However, it seems that these criticisms will end with the iPhone 17 series.
According to some recent claims, Apple will place an LTPO OLED screen supported by a 120 Hz refresh rate on the flat models, as well as the Pro models, in the iPhone 17 series. Expectations for an increase in the refresh rate were in the iPhone 16 series. However, it seems that the technology giant will be subject to criticism for another year.
In addition, the Apple A19 processor is expected to be used in the standard model in the iPhone 17 series. However, it is claimed that it will draw power from a 5,200 mAh battery and run on the iOS 19 operating system.
Apple is expected to introduce the new iPhone 17 series in 2025. Although there is no clear date for this, it is estimated to be launched in mid-September. As a result, there is nothing to do but wait for now.
