Xiaomi has stepped up its gear to enter the automobile world. While many leaks about the electric car have emerged in recent weeks, a new report has revealed its release date. According to Chinese media, the first Xiaomi electric car MS11 will be introduced at the end of 2023.

New information from China showed that Xiaomi aims to introduce its electric car in October. However, there are also rumors that the company may unveil it on November 11, specially for the 11.11 discounts in China.
Reports also showed that Xiaomi’s electric car is codenamed “Modena” and may arrive as MS11. As we mentioned a while ago, 50 prototypes are produced per week in the factory in Beijing.
Xiaomi also expects to receive mass production approval from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in the coming months. With new hires from Mercedes and Tesla, more than 100 people are expected to work in mass production. Mass recruitment will be made before 2024.
On the other hand, the first spy images of Xiaomi’s electric sedan have also emerged. It is reported that it will promise a driving range of up to 800 km on a single charge, thanks to its 101 kWh battery. Other leaks include that the LiDAR sensor and the multimedia system will be powered by the Qualcomm chipset.
With the start of trial production, breaths are being held for the October or November 11 event. It plans to launch its first car in the first half of 2024. It was said that the price would be around 200 thousand CNY (27 thousand dollars).
