The chipset to be used in Galaxy Z Fold7 was also obvious

Samsung released the Galaxy S25 series with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor worldwide. Behind this decision is that there are temporary problems in the production of the Exynos 2500 chip. Previous reports claimed that Samsung’s new foldable phones will come with Exynos 2500. However, according to a reliable source, Galaxy Z Fold7 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

Although Samsung has made significant improvements in Exynos processors developed for years, it is known that it is behind Snapdragon models in terms of performance. For this reason, the company has started to focus more on Snapdragon chipsets from the Galaxy S23 series. Although some models of the S24 series have been used, the Exynos 2400 was used, the Galaxy S25 series was completely switched to Snapdragon. The fact that Exynos 2500 cannot be produced in the capacity planned due to production efficiency problems is one of the biggest reasons for this transition.

The news that the Galaxy Z Fold7 will come with Snapdragon 8 elite was finalized, while no clear information about the Z Flip7 has not yet been shared. Exynos 2500 is unable to provide sufficient performance for large -screen foldable devices, or that production problems affect this model. However, Samsung continues to use Snapdragon processor in large -screen foldable models.

However, the Galaxy Z Fold7 will support the Proscaler feature in the S25 series. This feature allows to dynamically increase the resolution of the monitored content on the device. However, a significant change is expected in terms of screen brightness; The maximum brightness value of the device will be the same level as the Z Fold6 model, 2600 Nits. There is no change in storage and memory options; Users will be able to choose from 12GB RAM models with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage.

On the other hand, although the Z Flip7’s camera details have been leaked, it does not contain great innovations. Samsung is thought to focus on software development rather than hardware innovations in new foldable devices. The company, which follows a similar strategy in the Galaxy S25 series, focuses on software improvements to increase user experience.
