Chinese engineers are not happy that people still use toilet brushes in the 21st century. It seems that in the future there will be no need to clean up the remnants of feces stuck to the toilet bowl. Researchers from Huazhong University of Science and Technology have invented a super-slippery wear-resistant toilet seat.

It should be noted that nothing sticks to the developed toilet bowl. Even after heavy use, everything starts to slip quickly and there is no trace after a single flush. Scientists tested it by pouring various mixtures of muddy water, honey, milk, yogurt, hazelnut paste, starch gel and artificial feces onto the toilet bowl. In all trials, it was observed that none of these stubborn substances adhered to the toilet bowl surface.

It doesn’t end there. A wear resistance test was also carried out. The Chinese rubbed the surface of the toilet with sandpaper more than 1,000 times and repeated the above experiment. As a result, the toilet has never lost its slip feature.

The toilet bowl in question was created with the help of laser using 3D printing technology. It is stated that a material consisting of plastic and hydrophobic sand particles was used in its construction. Afterwards, the surface of the toilet was lubricated with a kind of silicone oil. Researchers think such toilet bowls can drastically reduce the amount of water used to flush.
