It can have the same charging speed as the iPhone 16 series
The claim comes from the Apple Supply Chain Analyst Jeff PU. Last year, according to tests by Chargerlab, the iPhone 16 Pro Max was able to reach the highest 37 W charging speed and 30 W continuous charging speed with Apple’s 140W USB-C power adapter. The standard iPhone 16 reportedly reached a maximum charging speed of 38 W and a continuous speed of approximately 20 W.

Although some people say that high charging speeds shorten the battery life, we have not yet come across a report that Chinese manufacturers have been presenting these speeds for 3-4 years.
Jeff PU did not mention any changes in Magsafe wireless charging speeds for iPhone 17 models. It is currently supporting wireless charging up to 25W with the iPhone 16 series Magsafe. The iPhone 17 is likely to offer similar speeds.
