Because the company has created a special NFT for the GT-R Nismo Special Edition, which will be put on sale in Canada in the coming months.
Nissan collaborated with artist Alex McLeod for the event in Canada. As part of this work, McLeod created a special design for the Nissan GT-R, thus making the iconic vehicle unique. Nissan will sell the images it uploaded to RubiX, one of the well-known NFT markets, by auctioning it on October 5.

But Nissan’s surprise in Canada is not just that. The company will also present a Nissan GT-R Nismo Special Edition to the person who buys the created NFT. Yes, you heard right. The person who makes the highest bid at the auction and owns the GT-R NFT will also get a real Nissan GT-R.
The real Nissan GT-R Nismo Special Edition will retail for C$279,498. Nissan wants 280 thousand Canadian dollars for the NFT to be auctioned. Nissan, which will receive its share of the money collected as a result of the auction, will donate the remaining portion to charities. The GT-R sale, which will appear as one of the biggest events in the NFT world, seems to be the number one agenda item for everyone interested in the sector.
