Minecraft, which debuted in 2011, has managed to become an iconic production in the game industry. However, Mojang decided to fix an “iconic” bug in Minecraft 11 years later. The MC-1133 issue prevented the character from hearing footsteps when approaching the edge of a block.
11 year delayed update from Minecraft
The famous problem called “MC-1133” is finally fixed. According to the developer company’s statement, because of this error, the footsteps became inaudible when approaching the edge of a block. This error was due to the character hovering rather than on the ground.
After a long wait, Mojang said it fixed the MC-1133 error. However, there are other changes in the update, which is offered exclusively for the 11th year. Accordingly, a blacksmithing sketch was taken out of the templates. Also added jukebox to Redstone Blocks.
Minecraft, which debuted in 2011, manages to catch a different agenda every day. The notes of the new update that fixes the MC-1133 bug are listed as follows:
- Walking on a block will now always make a step sound. This wasn’t the case before if you were walking on the edge of a block with air or liquid next to it.
- Walking on the ocean floor will produce a lower pitch and step sound for the block you are walking on.
While this update is exciting for Minecraft, the game has been on the agenda lately for another reason. It was stated that the new leak affecting the USA was the biggest disclosure in recent years. The US government has acknowledged that sensitive documents related to the war in Ukraine have surfaced on the Minecraft Discord server.
