TikTok, one of the pioneers of the short video stream, whose popularity has been increasing day by day, continues to increase the number of users. The company, which has more than one billion active subscribers, is one of the most successful social media platforms of the last period.

The social media giant, which wants to continue its success, aims to attract more people with new features and content. Finally, taking an important step towards this, the company shook hands with one of the biggest bands in music history. Founded in England in 1960, The Beatles signed a deal with TikTok.

The Beatles signed a 36-song deal with TikTok

According to the terms of the agreement, The Beatles will share 36 songs with TikTok. These contents, which will be added to the platform’s music library, can be used in videos created by users. At the same time, the group will be featured on TikTok via the official channel @TheBeatles. Moreover, the channel in question will not be just for show.

The Beatles will actively produce content for TikTok. The channel will broadcast videos that travel through the making of their individual songs, featuring interviews with fellow band members McCartney and Ringo Starr. Last December, McCartney released his new album, McCartney III. The artist chose TikTok to promote this album.

Get Back, the documentary film created by Peter Jackson and about the band The Beatles, will be released in November. The documentary will be in a 3-part series. The group’s TikTok channel will share special behind-the-scenes footage from the Let It Be episode with its followers. Get Back will consist of previously unearthed and restored images.

The documentary features more than 60 never-before-seen original images. More than 150 hours of unheard audio recording, most of which has been locked in a vault for more than half a century, is revealed for the first time in the documentary. The Beatles’ last live performance as a group is featured in this documentary for the first time in its entirety.

The music market is also rapidly finding its place on this social platform. The Beatles’ channel also follows the first major guitar brand to have an account on TikTok. Fender opened their own account last month. This is where he promotes his new production guitars.
