Galaxy Z Fold 5 does not promise much innovation over its predecessor in terms of design. Although it is slightly thinner than the previous models, it is possible to say that it is thicker than normal smartphones when folded. In addition, there are various improvements in the hinge design.
Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a 7.56-inch primary display. The device, which comes with dynamic AMOLED 2X technology, has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a selfie camera placed under the screen.
The outer screen of the smartphone adopts Infinity O technology. The 6.2-inch panel with a resolution of 2316 x 904 pixels and a pixel density of 374 PPI offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Likewise, it should be noted that the camera is positioned under the screen.
Galaxy Z Fold 5 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Chipset with 4 nm architecture; It hosts the Adreno graphics unit in addition to 1x 3.36 GHz ARM Cortex-X3, 2x 2.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A710, 2x 2.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A715, 3x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores.
There are no changes on the camera side. The device has a triple camera setup of 50 Megapixels, 16 Megapixels + 12 Megapixels, as in the previous model.
The device, which has UFS 4.0 support with the new model, also includes connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3. Let’s add that it offers 12 GB RAM and 256 GB – 1 TB storage support.
