GOG.com announced the free game it will distribute specially for Halloween. The iconic horror game, which debuted in 1993, will be available to players for free until next week. On the other hand, there are also special discounts for Halloween on the platform.
How to get GOG free game?
GOG is celebrating Halloween by giving away a classic adventure game. Until November 3, PC players will be able to add the 1993 movie Return of the Phantom to their GOG libraries.
The play is a sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. Players take on the role of Inspector Raoul Montand, who time-travels to 19th-century Paris to stop a group called the Red Death from terrorizing the present day. The story, written by James Bond author Raymond Benson, is presented with atmospheric gameplay.
You’ll look for clues along the stageways, in the wings, and in the backstage rooms of the Ogunda opera house. In this context, you will interrogate people and prevent terrorism in Paris.
GOG offers the chance to experience the horror-themed adventure game for free, specially for Halloween. Players can visit the GOG store until 16:00 on November 3 to permanently add Return of the Phantom to their library.
This build is actually part of GOG’s big Halloween sales, which will last until November 4th. More than 300 games, from horror games like Silent Hill 2 to Pumpkin Jack, are waiting for players with various discounts.
