Dutch submarine company U-Boat Worx has announced the 120-passenger UWEP (Underwater Entertainment Platform). The submarine, which can go down to a depth of 200 meters, will be able to offer its passengers an underwater restaurant, casino, meeting place or wedding venue experience.

UWEP has more than 150 m2 of reconfigurable venue area, depending on the event to be held. The submarine is 35.1 m long, 7.7 m wide and 7 m high, and has 14 windows with a diameter of 4.5 m on its hull.
With up to 120 passengers, the submarine will be able to offer an underwater experience of 18 hours for 18 hours. UWEP features a kitchen, a stage-like platform set higher than the seating, and a bar.
The submarine, which can move at a speed of 5.6 km/h on water and 4.6 km/h under water, has four 80 kW horizontal thrusters and four 40 kW It will be an all-electric vehicle with vertical thrust. While the company says that a submarine can be used for multiple purposes, it will also sell the UWEP in a smaller 27-metre version that can hold 80 passengers.
