Tether has announced that starting this month, it will regularly buy Bitcoin for stablecoin reserves, using a portion of its profits.

Stablecoin issuer Tether said on Wednesday, May 17, that it will buy Bitcoin as a new investment strategy. Tether stated that it will allocate up to 15 percent of the profits from the investments to the purchase of BTC, adding the tokens to the surplus.
