Tether has asked law firm Roche Freedman to withdraw from court after allegations of misappropriation of crypto lawsuits.

Tether’s request comes after the website Crypto Leaks released video clips claiming that Ava Labs, a crypto company in which Kyle Roche and other partners in the company have a financial stake, admitted to using investor lawsuits to target competitors.

Tether Requests Court to Withdraw Roche Freedman

Tether said that Roche Freedman co-founder Kyle Roche should be removed from the lawsuit following allegations that he used investor lawsuits to help his client.

Kyle Roche withdrew from all crypto class action lawsuits Wednesday, including accusing Tether of cheating the crypto markets. This move comes after Kyle Roche’s video was posted by Crypto Leaks.

Making a request to the court, citing the related post, Tether asked US District Court Judge Katherine Polk Failla to remove Roche Freedman from the case against the company. He also said that Roche’s withdrawal alone would not resolve the conflict.

Kyle Roche says the video was edited and obtained illegally. At the same time, he and other executives at Ava Labs deny the claim.
