Tesla, one of the pioneers of the electric car world, is considered by many to be the best in the industry. On the other hand, although the company’s models are generally known to be reliable, they can occasionally give frightening errors.
Tesla Model S Plaid caught fire 3 kilometers after starting
Tesla Model S Plaid, which was introduced last year, became the agenda with the speed records it broke from time to time. The vehicle, which is shown as one of the most preferred models of electric car enthusiasts, suddenly burst into flames while walking on the road.
Twitter user Houndstooth_Belle stated that the Tesla Model S Plaid vehicle belonging to his grandfather started to burn on the road. According to the user, while the vehicle was traveling at 30 kilometers, it started to burn after 3 kilometers.
The user stated that the vehicle is only 13 months old and is at 14 thousand kilometers. According to the investigations, the fire started from the left engine of the vehicle. Although a great danger was overcome, there was no loss of life. This isn’t Tesla’s first vehicle to burst into flames.
In May, another model of the company, the Tesla Model Y, experienced a similar event. A Tesla user in Canada stated that while driving with his electric vehicle, the car stopped after giving an error warning. Stating that smoke started to come out of his vehicle, the driver said that Tesla started to catch fire afterwards. Claiming that the doors and windows did not open, the driver stressed that he was forced out of the vehicle by breaking the windows.
