State Farm sues Tesla over electric car fire!

Famous insurance company State Farm filed a $1.27 million lawsuit against the company, as it could be caused by a Tesla Model S in the house fire that occurred two years ago. The insurance company believes that the fire that destroyed the house started due to some faults in the 2016 Model S and destroyed the house.

This event happened almost 2 years ago on February 17, 2020. On the day of the fire, the family went out in their Model S vehicle and parked it in the garage at the house. After parking, the family charged the vehicle. When the fire occurred after this event, the insurance company started to think that the cause of the fire was Tesla Model S.

State Farm stated in a statement that as a result of their investigations, they found that the fire was caused by a Tesla Model S. In addition, the company claimed that some Model Ss released in 2016 had such problems. The following was stated in the petition submitted to the court:

“The investigation into the source and cause of the fire, and experts hired by State Farm to investigate on its behalf, revealed that the fire was caused by a defective condition found by Tesla. A defect in design or manufacturing As a result, the Tesla vehicle’s electrical system malfunctioned, causing an electrical condition that ignited combustible materials and caused a fire.”

The long version of this petition states that this claim is not 100 percent true. This situation also reveals the possibility that Tesla is not actually guilty. According to the reports published to date, the fire risk of electric cars is many times lower than that of normal cars. So, what are your thoughts? Do you think the fire was caused by Tesla?
