Model Y was the best-selling car in Europe in September
A study by JATO Dynamics revealed that Tesla Model Y continued its successes and became the best-selling car in Europe last September. We can say that this is thanks to the high production at the Gigafactory, which the company opened in Berlin. Tesla announced earlier this month that 2,000 Model Ys are being produced weekly at the factory. This showed that around 100,000 vehicles could be produced at the facility annually. In addition, the wide charging network offered by Tesla may have played an important role in the formation of high sales.
According to the data, 29,367 Model Ys were sold in Europe in September alone. This corresponds to a 227% increase over the same period last year. Let’s add that Peugeot 208 is in the second place and Dacia Sandero is in the third place in the list of bestsellers in September.
