Tesla held an event called Cyber Rodeo today for the opening of its new factory and headquarters near Texas. Elon Musk gave the good news about the production date for Cybertruck, Semi and Roadster in his statement.
Tesla showcased the first cars produced at its Austin factory. Musk drove the Model Y SUV that rolled off the production line in Austin at the event. The drone show before the event won the admiration of many.
Cybertruck, Roadster and Semi’s production will start in 2023
Tesla is being criticized for some problems in the production of electric pickup trucks and tow trucks. Musk claimed that they overcame all the problems and pressed the button for production in 2023.
At the end of the show, Tesla chief designer Franz von Holzhausen took the stage with the Cybertruck prototype. Presenting the final version of the vehicle to automobile enthusiasts, the company did not test the vehicle’s durability this time. It is certain that the Cybertruck model will have a design similar to the leaked photos.
Musk also made a statement about humanoid robot and other artificial intelligence technologies at the event. Stating that Tesla will make a special robotaxis, Musk said, “It will look quite innovative. After taking FSD technology to the next level, we can transform it into robotaxis. Our Austin manufacturing facility will be the largest in the US. We aim to increase production. We targeted a market share of 20 percent.” said.
Tesla currently accounts for about 1 percent of cars sold in the United States. In the market where only electric vehicles take place, it has succeeded in leaving its competitors behind.
