Electric car manufacturer Tesla announced how many vehicles they produced and delivered in 2021 in the last quarter of last year. The company reported that it delivered more than it produced while producing close to 1 million vehicles in 2021.
It will increase production capacity
First of all, looking at the last quarter reports of 2021, Tesla delivered 11,750 of the Model S and Model X models, which it produced 13,109 units. While 292,731 units were produced for Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, 296,850 units were delivered. In general, it was reported that while a total of 305,840 vehicles were produced in the 4th quarter of 2021, 308,600 vehicles were delivered.
In 2021, Tesla produced 930,422 vehicles. More than 911 thousand of the 936, 172 vehicles delivered were Model 3 and Model Y vehicles.
Tesla was less affected by the supply of components compared to many automotive manufacturers and announced that it will focus on increasing its current production capacity. In addition, Tesla stated that they will take greater steps towards fully autonomous driving.
