A Cybertruck model with Tesla’s Full Self-Drring (FSD) feature was involved in a traffic accident in Florida. Without any intervention of the driver, the vehicle on the automatic driving mode hit the electric pole. There was no injury as a result of the accident, but Cybertruck became unusable again.

Cybertruck had a heavy accident in the autonomous driving!

Jonathan Challinger, the owner of Tesla Cybertruck, who was involved in the accident and is also a software developer, shared the event through the social media platform X. According to Challinger, the FSD v13.2.4 version was active and the vehicle was moving in the right lane and he had to turn left. However, the system could not detect the turn and continued straight and hit the electric pole on the sidewalk. Fortunately, there was no pedestrian on the road or sidewalk at the time of the incident.

In his share, Challinger said Tesla had survived the accident without injury thanks to in -car security systems. However, he also admitted that his excessive confidence in FSD was an error and warned other drivers to be careful.
