Elon Musk’s automotive company Tesla announced the first pick-up model called Cybertruck at an event it organized in 2019, and introduced an ATV called Cyberquad at the same event. According to Elon Musk’s statements, this ATV would be released at the end of 2021. It was expected and Tesla officially launched its first ATV model. However, the ATV was launched quite a bit smaller than it was announced in 2019.
Cyberquad, launched by Tesla, is a special version developed for children, according to the company. This is why the off-road vehicle, which is restricted in terms of speed and the weight it can carry, is launched as if it is special for children. However, there is no such thing in reality. Because even in the promotional videos shared, it can be seen that adult individuals use this ATV. In the statements made by the company, it is stated that the condition for using the ATV is to be 8 years old.
Introducing Cyberquad for kids
Cyberquad, which Tesla has also made suitable for children, can travel a maximum of 24 kilometers. The top speed that the vehicle can reach is 16 kilometers per hour. The ATV, which can be ridden up to 55-60 kilograms, does not have a fast charging feature. It takes about 5 hours for this all-terrain vehicle to be fully charged.
The kids’ version of Cyberquad doesn’t come in one piece. Consumers who purchase the product need to assemble the ATV, which has an all-steel body, one by one. According to the information on Tesla’s website, the 18-stage installation phase is done with allen keys.
A number of Tesla’s design works shared a video with Cyberquad
Tesla’s chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen, made a post on his official Twitter account. Holzhausen, who shared a video for the ATV designed for children, stated that this product is very entertaining for children and adults.
The new ATV released by Tesla is listed on the company’s website for $ 1,900. Although this price seems high at first, we can say that it is ‘affordable’ when we consider that it is equivalent to an average gaming computer today. The company states that the deliveries of the products will start in the range of 2-4 weeks. . .
