Following an aggressive sales strategy in our country, Chinese Transsion sub-brand Tecno is climbing the steps of fame one by one. The brand made record product sales in the third quarter of the year and doubled its net income.

Tecno went on the offensive

According to the announced reports, the Tecno brand sold a total of 12 million smartphones in the third quarter of the year and experienced a 62 percent increase on a yearly basis. Last year, the company sold 7.4 million units. The brand reached 4 percent share in the global market and ranked ninth. It tripled its market share in just 3 years.

While the brand’s revenues increased by 39 percent with 215 million dollars, its net income increased by 190 percent with 19 million dollars. The brand’s profit margin was 25.2 percent. Tecno Camon and Phantom series increased sales by 53 percent in this period.

The growth of the Tecno brand directly affects the Transsion company. Transsion, which also includes the Infinix brand, increased its revenues by 36 percent in the third quarter of the year. The Infinix brand also contributed to growth during this period.
