How does this technology work?
Color changing technology does not include a method such as placing a screen on the back panel that comes to mind in the first place. Colors are made possible by prism materials smaller than a micron, which can change direction when exposed to electricity.
When the direction of these prisms is controlled, it can be ensured that the material reflects light at different wavelengths. Tecno also controls the direction of these prisms with a software installed on the device. The user can choose from 1600 different colors or the colors can be changed according to battery status, music playing and notifications.
Moreover, according to the data shared by Tecno, the technology has a very long life. Colors can be changed up to 2 million iterations. The color change is completed in 0.03 seconds.
