Bitcoin and crypto mining has taken its place in the world of technology as a system that grows day by day and almost exploits the graphics cards in the market. Many technology giant companies are also developing projects to take a place in this market.

In a new blog post it published, technology giant Intel announced that new processors that will further strengthen blockchain technology will arrive at the end of the year. In other words, Intel has now entered the Bitcoin mining business, so to speak. As you know, Bitcoin mining requires enormous computing power and is therefore a very energy consuming process. For this reason, Intel wants to develop computing technologies that will help Bitcoin miners consume less energy.

The new processors will be called ‘Bonanza Mine’

In fact, quite a bit is already known about the chip giant’s new Bitcoin mining hardware. In fact, Intel has already moved on to the second-generation Bonanza Mine chip known as the BMZ2.

This new chip has a proprietary architecture designed specifically to accelerate SHA-256 processing for ultra-low voltage Bitcoin mining. Intel claims that these energy efficient chips will outperform mainstream GPUs by more than 1000 times per watt for mining based on SHA-256.

It is not yet clear when we will see Intel’s Bonanza Mine chips, which can radically change crypto mining.
