Lukasz Krupski, who worked as a service technician at Tesla, said he was fired after expressing concerns about the safety of using the autopilot software. He later shared several accident reports and Tesla’s internal correspondence with German business newspaper Handelsblatt, expressing concerns about alleged flaws in the company’s artificial intelligence.
Hardware and software not ready
Lukasz Krupski said in his statements about this important issue: “I don’t think the hardware and software are ready. This is a situation that concerns all of us, because we are testing on public roads. Even if you don’t have a Tesla, it affects you, because your children are still walking on the pavement.” he said.
Although Tesla has not directly responded to former employee Krupski’s claims, the company’s boss Elon Musk shared a post on his social platform X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday: “Tesla has by far the best artificial intelligence in the real world.”
