Teaser Released From Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Black Adam’

The first footage from the movie, which has been in the making for more than 10 years, focusing on the story of antihero Black Adam, another comic book character Shazam’s sworn nemesis; Johnson personally shared it as part of the DC Fandome, a fan event.

Rumors that Dwayne Johnson will play Shazam or Black Adam actually go as far back as 2007. In 2014, Johnson was hired to appear as Black Adam in the movie ‘Shazam!’; however, when the producers later decided that it would be better for the character to have a movie of his own, Johnson did not appear in Shazam, which came out in 2019 and starred Zachary Levi.
