Officials in the US state of Georgia began begging people to put on something before taking their driver’s license photos.

The Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) published a post on Facebook on May 23, asking people to appear fully clothed in the photos they took for their digital driver’s licenses. DDS shared, “Attention, good people of the digital age! Please take pictures with your clothes while handing in your Digital Driver’s License and IDs.”

The post was also accompanied by a mime-formed pose of astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson.

When someone in the comments section of the post asked if the reminder to DDS was a “joke” and whether people were actually posting nude photos, the organization responded with a GIF saying “real.” He used a similar playful tone when answering other questions in the comments.

When asked about examples of what not to do when taking a driver’s license photo, DDS posted another GIF of a nude cartoon skeleton taking a selfie.

According to DDS’s website, the state allows drivers to add their driver’s license to their iPhone’s Apple Wallet or Apple Watch, making it easier to pass through traffic checkpoints.

However, these digital driver’s licenses do not replace physical driver’s licenses.
