Usually Samsung’s mid-range phones have three or four cameras. Two of these cameras are primary and ultra-wide, while the others consist of depth sensors and macro cameras. However, starting next year, a camera may be reduced in the mid-range phones of the South Korean firm.
According to a report from The Elec, Samsung has decided to remove the depth-sensing camera sensors from its mid-range phones. The news claims that the Galaxy A24, Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 will each have three cameras: main, ultra-wide and macro. Galaxy A24 could have 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera and 5MP macro camera.
The Galaxy A34 reportedly includes a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. Strangely enough, this news claims that the Galaxy A54 will have a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP macro camera. However, it’s possible that the resolution of the ultra-wide camera is a typo, as it doesn’t make much sense to downgrade the camera of a more expensive device (compared to the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A34).
