Samsung’s plans to launch the Galaxy S23 FE with the Exynos 2200 processor later this year may be just part of a broader strategy for Exynos to increase its market share. A Korean business news source confirms our latest news about the Galaxy S23 FE and states that Samsung is also working on an Exynos 2400 chipset for next year.

Samsung’s strategy to increase Exynos’ market share could have ramifications for future Galaxy S24 users. Rumor has it that Samsung is currently developing the Exynos 2400 processor and could put the chipset into mass production by November at the earliest. Allegedly, Samsung plans to use Exynos 2400 for the Galaxy S24 series.

According to a credible leak that has surfaced earlier, the upcoming Exynos 2400 chip will have 10 CPU cores, including:

  • 1x Cortex-X4 primary core
  • 2x Cortex-A720 high-frequency cores
  • 3 Cortex-A720 low frequency cores
  • 4 Cortex-A520 energy-efficient cores
