Starfield, which was released last week and broke records in a short time, has also attracted the attention of NASA. In a post made on the social media account of the US space agency, Starfield players were humorously targeted. NASA implicitly urged players to apply for interns.
NASA invited to internship program with Starfield
Starfield has taken players around the world on virtual space journeys with its recent release. NASA, on the other hand, wants the admiration for Bethesda’s new game to continue in the real world.

The US space agency thinks players may be inspired by Starfield to pursue a career at NASA. The institution shared a post targeting the Starfield community on its social media account and drew attention to the new internship program.
The Instagram account created for NASA’s internship program shared a video that went viral. In the video, the statement was included: “I watch you not apply for the NASA internship program after playing Starfield.”
He also said NASA also has spaceships, crews, exoplanets and missions. While the entertaining post of the US agency became viral in a short time, it spread the 2024 summer internship program to a wide audience.
This unconventional intern recruitment tactic received mixed reactions from Starfield players. Although some people laughed at it, some people said that Starfield was incomparably more fun than real space studies.
Starfield recently reached 6 million sales. This makes it the biggest Bethesda-made game release ever. We should note that the development and advertising budget of the game is around 400 million dollars.
